Jammu, February 15 (KNO) : A complete shutdown is being observed across Jammu today to protest against the killing of 44 CRPF men in an attack on Thursday at Lethpora area of Awantipora. All the shops, business establishments and others are closed while traffic is also thin on the roads. In view of the shutdown, a large contingent of police and paramilitary troopers as per KNO has been deployed on roads to thwart any untoward incident. On last evening, a protest was carried out by Jammuties against the killing of CRPF men. The situation in Jammu is tense, however a top police officer said the situation is under control. Meanwhile, the mobile internet service has also been suspended in Jammu as 'a precautionary measure'. Following Lethpora Pulwama attack on Thursday, the mobile internet services in Southern districts were also snapped while in Srinagar and other districts, the high speed 3G and 4G was reduced to 2G.(KNO)
